PROJECT REVIEW

The Women’s Foundation is a Bay Area non-profit focusing on women’s empowerment and gender justice in California. The Women’s Foundation approached our team for a redesign and development of their website after recently finishing a rebrand that was much bolder and more colorful than their previous look.

PLATFORM

Built using WordPress CMS with GreenSock animations

Many of the websites we see today, are more than just pages of information, they’re an experience. We set out to instill that through animation, bold color placement and large imagery. We breathed life into the site with editable animated text headlines, animated infographics and parallax scrolling elements. As a result, the Women’s Foundation website took second place as a People’s Choice Nominee for the 2022 Webby Awards.

The website was built with a custom template using the WordPress CMS. To keep the continuity of the design consistent across all the pages, we built a custom no-code page builder for the website admins. The WF comms team is able to select a layout module from the list of pre-coded components, paste-in the content as needed and reorder the components to build a page layout any way they see fit.
